Poddębice Municipality is the winner of the 6th “Fair Play Municipality” Contest. During the Final Gala of the contest, on October 5th, 2007, in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, the Mayor of Poddębice Piotr Sęczkowski accepted the certificate of “Fair Play Municipality”.

The aim of “Fair Play Municipality” contest:

• awarding and promotion of “investor-friendly” municipalities and increasing investors’ and media interest in them,
• promotion of transparent relations between entrepreneurs and local community, promotion of cooperation between the business and investor-friendly municipalities,
• encouraging the municipalities to create proper standards of business services by altering internal organisation of work,
• supporting the municipalities in their efforts to attracts new investors,
• promotion of investments that are good for the environment and the disabled,
• support in information exchange between municipalities concerning effective investment promotion methods,
• encouragement of reliable and honest relations with the enterprise in all Polish municipalities.
